XML Validator

XMLBlueprint has a powerful XML Validator. A valid XML Document conforms to all the constraints imposed by a schema (e.g., a DTD, Relax NG Schema, Schematron Schema or an XML Schema). In other words, the document does not contain any tags that are not permitted by the schema, and the order of the tags conforms to the schema's specifications.

XMLBlueprint helps you write valid XML by:

  • Validating your document against the associated DTD, Relax NG Schema, or XML Schema (XSD).
  • Giving you a choice of validators.
  • Presenting all errors found in an error list.
  • Jumping to the error you click on, even if the error is not in the active file.
  • Providing smart XML editing features.
  • Providing a wizard to associate your XML Document with a DTD, Relax NG schema or XML Schema.
  • Supporting Xinclude, XML Catalogs and default schemas.
