How to edit XML documents in Polish (Polski)

XMLBlueprint supports editing XML and XSLT in many different languages. Depending on your choice of language and the Windows version you're working on, you may have to install additional software and fonts.

To edit XML or XSLT in Polish you have to do the following:

  1. Enable support for Polish (Windows 98 and Windows ME only).
  2. Add a keyboard for Polish.
  3. Install one or more Polish fonts.

How to enable support for Polish in Windows 98 or Windows ME

To create XML documents in Polish in Windows 98 or Windows ME, you must enable multiple-language support:

  1. Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  2. On the Windows Setup tab, double-click Multilanguage Support, and then check Polish.

To add a keyboard for Polish in Windows 98 or Windows ME you have to do the following:

  1. Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Keyboard.
  2. On the Language tab, press the Add... button.
  3. In the Language list, select Polish, and then press the OK button.
  4. If you want to be able to switch keyboard layouts by using the Windows taskbar, make sure the Enable indicator on taskbar check box is selected.

  3. Open Polish and select the keyboard you want to use when you type Polish.
